Yes. In order to operate drones for commercial purposes, drone operators must be certified by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration). All our pilots hold a remote pilot airman certificate.

We do not fly in high winds and rain. Inclement weather would result in poor imaging and is generally illegal to fly in commercially. We will however do our best to reschedule a time that best works for you.

Not anywhere. There are a lot of restrictions where we can operate drones. For example, no drones are allowed within certain airports without a special approval from the Airport Traffic Control, not at National parks, Federal buildings etc. We would be very happy to talk to you in details about any other restrictions.

Unfortunately Commercial Drone Flight is highly restricted in New York City with the exception of certain areas set aside specifically for unmanned flight. We can however take off and fly from the waters surrounding NYC as well as from New Jersey, Westchester County, and Nassau.

The maximum flight time on a single battery in normal conditions is between 17 and 24 minutes, depending on which equipment we use for your event, and depending on the weather. On average we fly up to 19 minutes before landing and changing batteries.

We carry spare pre-charged batteries on each shoot. It only takes a few minutes to change the battery and get back in air. So we are able to fly for a long time with little disruption.

Yes. We can fly indoors but we need space. We have flown in warehouses and studios. We can also install propeller guards for indoor flights for safety.

Our drones are battery powered with electric motors so there is no worry about polluting the environment. The dynamics of flying indoors are different. The construction and materials in the building can affect how drones fly.

Only if you are certified as a commercial remote pilot by the FAA. If you are not, it is illegal to use any drone-obtained materials for commercial purposes through any ways including MLS, website, social media, brochure, etc.

No, you cannot. You must be certified by the FAA as a commercial remote pilot to use any drone-obtained materials for commercial purposes. Also, the drone-obtained materials become retroactively commercial if it is ever sold or used for commercial purposes.

For projects that just require basic photos the turn around is genearally within 24 hours, however for more complex projects or for videography it may be longer. We will work with you to figure out what best suits your schedule.

For most photography and videography we use a DJI Mavic 2 Pro. For indoor aerial work we use a DJI Mavic Air. For anything that requires thermal imaging we use a Parrot Anafi Thermal.

An estimate of our prices can be seen on our pricing page, however every project is different and requires different equipment, time, procedures, distance traveled, etc. We will work with you to find the best package that suits your needs.
